A river buried in the Sahara

Scientists know that the Sahara wasn’t always dry. At certain times in the past, grass grew in place of dunes and water even trickled to the sea. Now, researchers have discovered proof: an ancient river channel buried beneath the sand. Learn more in my podcast for Scientific America.
